Children of Horror,

We dedicate tonight’s episode, Jeffrey LeBlanc’s “Blood & Dust” to the undisputed “King of Horror”—Stephen King and to the “Queen of Vampires”—Anne Rice! Thanks to both of you for the great advice, and for leading us down these scorched and fiery paths. Devilishly devoted to horror, may your souls always be!

Two children encounter winged terrors in a swamp. A man is terrorized by a vengeful vampire in a frozen field. And, Max Faucheaux is in the fight of his life hunting a man who believes he’s a werewolf, as we howl from Blood Mountain for the return of Jeffrey LeBlanc.

Tonight, we have resurrected Captain Antoine Valterre with the poem “Blood and Dust”. This is a new poem for the revised “The Devil of Black Bayou”. Also, Devil be damned, we will be bringing new, horrific terrors to our first novel. It’s long overdue to sharpen fangs and let the blood fly.

Enjoy! -JL

  1. Curious hands desecrated the graves of the undead;
    (Antoine Valterre became the Devil’s king.)
    Till they found a silver coffin to their dread.
    Fascination became terror when they opened the lid,
    Eyes fluorescent and fangs sanguine that box had hid.
    (A vampire’s thirst is a deadly thing.)–JL
